  1. Tim - Please post your project essay! The question is on the course blog. Here's this assignment, too.
    All,
Here’s the on-line assignment for today (since I’ve had to cancel class due to the weather)
If you are unable to leave these comments below, please email them to me!

    1. Visit 5 of your classmates blogs at this link and leave constructive comments:
    http://www.art105bcc.blogspot.com/

    2. Your comment must cover the following:
Which three design principles could be considered more carefully in order to improve your (5) classmate’s overall designs, and how should these principles be specifically implemented? Be very specific to receive full credit. Remember, you are critique five (5) different projects made by five of your classmates.

    3. With each of the five (5) designs you chose for question #1, choose one (1) personality “word/term” and describe how this word could be adjusted in order to reflect its meaning more accurately. Which design principles should be implemented (and how should they be specifically used) in order to get the “word or personality term” to express its meaning more directly?

Good luck and see you Monday!

  3. You used proportion very well in this piece. Each word is a different size than the others...good job

  4. One thing that your artwork lacks is rhythm. I'm not really sure where my eye is suppose to go first...but other than that great job...

  5. I liked the way that there is no empty space on the page there are words all over which keep your eyes constantly moving. Each one of his words really emphasize their meanings, there is very good scale with the word shy for example is really small while well rounded is large. I like how all of the words have a lot of detail to them because it makes it look very interesting and not boring. The only thing I am not to sure of, is which word is the focal point other than that I think it is a really good project.

  7. Everything about this is perfect. Only thing im not to sure about is the focal point. Maybe is you made the value of "well rounded" barker and made it bigger it would stick out more and provide more visual weight. Also spreading out the words on the bottom right would create less negative space and weigh out the changes you make to "well rounded". But besides that i think this is probably one of my favorite pieces.
